80 Day Obsession – Day 60

What?!?! Day 60 already?! I can’t believe how far we’ve come!!! We got up at 4am again. It was going to be a busy day, so we knew we needed to work out in the morning or risk not working out, and that isn’t an option. Plus, I love getting the workout done in the morning. I feel great all day long. But… now I crave more working out! I’ve so wanted this day to come, and it felt like it never ever would. I always envied people who enjoyed working out, and somehow this week I finally turned that corner. Halfway through the day I start craving another workout! Wow! I am so excited to see where this takes me.

After that early morning breakfast we did our Tony Robbins’ morning gratitude meditation. We did this after going to Unleash the Power Within the first time, but it kind of fell apart and had become lackluster. After last weekend though we’ve rededicated ourselves to it. Then we got our butts to the gym for Total Body Core. The compound movements that Autumn has built into this workout challenge and motivate me in such a huge way. We lifted bigger weights than before… and sometimes bigger weights than Autumn. That’s my favorite. I’m seriously loving 80 Day Obsession so much! It helps that the results are really showing up. But on top of that, I just feel so good and healthy, and fit. I used to dread taking the stairs, and now I’m like, yeah, I can do that, it’ll feel good! And we rocked that whole workout, every single last difficult move we owned! Afterwards my arms were so tired that I found myself shaking while I was trying to give myself my testosterone injection. Perhaps right after the workout is not the best time to do my injection.

We tried to stretch our meals as close to every 3 hours as possible just so we wouldn’t finish our food to early. It worked out pretty well. I ate mostly garbanzo beans and/or quinoa with veggies all day. I am craving veggies now too. The body and mind shift if you stick with something long enough for the shift to happen. I think I’ve hit that point!

We don’t have as busy of a day tomorrow, but I think we’ll get up at 4 anyway so that we can get our workout in and get to an early meeting before work. Then after work the day will be all mine. Plus I feel better all day long when I make that workout happen in the morning!
