Day 11 is in the books! It was AAA (Arms, Abs and A**). I wasn’t exhausted at the end like cardio, but all of my muscles were sore and fatigued. Walking to my motorcycle after the workout I felt sore just holding my helmet. It was crazy! Not only are there lots of arm workouts, there is a lot of holding yourself up in plank, which does a number on my shoulders (in a good way). This week I found myself much more able to do pushups on my toes, instead of my knees. I only dropped to my knees for a few of them. My partner did all of his pushups on his toes! I think my accountability buddy did too! (I’ll tell you more about her in an upcoming post).
Food was only ok today. We have a huge event this weekend, so we’ve been too swamped to spend much time coming up with fancy recipes. Next week we are planning to get a lot more adventurous. For this week it is pretty basic. We are using up everything that was in our produce box, most of which is kale. We rarely drink coffee, but today was a coffee day (lots to get done). So we tried XCT oil in it. We didn’t put any butter in, like bulletproof coffee, since we are vegan. It was interesting. Mostly tasted like black coffee. I’m not sure if it made a whole lot of a difference or not.
There are two more meals today that I’ll eat later this evening, so those aren’t pictured. Tomorrow I’ll be prepping meals to take with us on our busy weekend. That is all for today’s workout and food. More tomorrow.
