We started the day off strong. Today I planned ahead so as not to accidentally eat part of our pre-workout meal as just a regular meal. Oops. We hit all our meals right on time.
The day was amazing. Our event went incredibly well.
We got home and we knew we had to get our workout in. For my partner, Cardio Flow is his least favorite workout. For me, I always start thinking, this isn’t so bad, and then by the end I’m thinking, oh yeah, this is rough, I forgot how exhausting this is…. Am I really going to live through this. LOL. But I do live through it. And I’m even stronger once I get through it. Every time.
It’s our second week doing 6 reps of each move in the pyramid. And we are doing the 6 reps in about the same amount of time that we did 4 reps in. There were a few spots where we really struggled. Particularly my partner, who spends way more time actually leading the workshop than I do. And in some parts he took it a little easy because he was so exhausted and because he has to lead our event tomorrow too. But we still got through all the way to the end. I almost flipped my feet over my head during one of our mule frogs. It was crazy. I was ridiculously drenched at the end of the workout. But no excuses. We made it happen.
