Live is crazy and it throws you curveballs. We get to decide what we do with those curveballs. Obviously it’s been a hectic week. I can’t comment on how things are unfolding with my client, except to say that it has me feeling stressed and overwhelmed. That is generally the case when we experience unexpected things, but probably much more so when someone is behind bars.
But this blog is about fitness and nutrition first. So what is happening with that? Today we had agreed to assist all day at a friend’s event. Of course, we hadn’t expected our week to be so crazy, but alas, it was. We got up around 6 to get dressed and hop on our motorcycle to ride out to the event about an hour away. We helped all day long at the event. We snuck out, or hid in a supply closet every 2-3 hours to eat our meals. Because of this I didn’t end up getting very many meals pics. But we got them all in. Honestly, a lot of it was baby carrots. It’s not always glamorous, but that’s ok.
We actually got home earlier than expected, by about 7pm. We changed and headed straight to the gym. Saturday is always the same workout…. Kind of. It was the same moves, but this time Autumn cut out the breaks! We had to go harder and faster. Wow did I feel it. I know I’m stronger than the first time I did it, but it was still challenging being amped up like this!
I mentioned above that this is the last day of Phase 1. 80 Day Obsession is broken up into 3 Phases. This marks the end of the first phase. That means we recalculate our meal plan, we take pictures and measurements to mark our progress, and all of our workout routines get switched up!! In phase 1 each week the workouts had the same moves, Autumn just switched things up to make them a little more challenging and keep us on our toes. But now we learn all new moves! Stay tuned for more!
