80 day obsession – Day 10

I know I haven’t explained the nutrition plan well, and I will, as soon as I have a little more time! My partner and I are leading a 2 full day event this weekend, so we are super overwhelmed getting ready for that. I am barely squeezing in time to stick with the program and keep this blog up. But come Monday I’ll have more time, so next week I’ll make some more extensive posts.

Today was cardio. I was pouring sweat. I mean wiping down the floor so I wouldn’t slip because there was so much sweat. It was only a 37 minute workout (including warm-up and cool-down) but boy did it give me a run for my money. At one point I had to modify because I felt like I barely had any energy left to even move! But I modified for a round and then I got back in there full force!! We top off the cardio with ab workouts, and I felt that in my side afterwards too!

Food was a mixed bag today. I experimented a little with spices and added a little mustard and curry to some veggies, it wasn’t the right combo. I’ve found that marinated and baked tofu is perhaps my favorite protein, so we’ll be stocking up at Costco soon. One more meal to go tonight, but I’ll be headed to bed when we finish that, so no picture.

We get a weekly produce delivery (yes, very posh San Francisco, I know). Our box came in last night, and I had it packed full of good stuff! We diced up all the vegetables so we can quickly grab them and throw them into salads or stir fries or whatever. We got a few pieces of fruit (not as much though because we only get 2 servings of fruit per day, and one of those is the banana we put in our Shakeology). My new bag of chocolate vegan Shakeology should be here any day. That one is my favorite!

Pre-workout, which was our second meal of the day. Forgot to snap a pic of my 6am kale and cashew breakfast. Forgot to taje a pic off this until it was almost all gone! It was tofu (protien) and spinach (veggies) scramble with toast (carb).
Cardio today! I’m not crying, that is sweat dripping everywhere!
Shakeology. Yum. Maybe my favorite part of the day. Superfoods packed into a super yummy shake! Basically the only desert-like food that we get!
Post workout meal. Kale, broccoli, onions (veggies), with black beans (protein), on quinoa/rice (carb). I got a little adventurous with spices and it didn’t turn out amazing…
Afternoon snack. Salad with yummy fixins (veggies), and edamame (protein), and a teaspoon of peanut butter (nut butter/oil).

The big meal! Tofu (protein), with broccoli, spinach and carrots (veggies), a few tiny oranges (fruit), and raw unsalted sunflower seeds (seeds) not pictured.
