80 Day Obsession – Day 50

The last day of Phase 2. I feel like that came so fast! Unbelievable. The next post will contain Day 1 to end of Phase 2 comparison pics and measurements.

I slept in just a bit. Then got straight to my pre-workout meal. And then Cardio Flow, for the last time in Phase 2. In the elevator my partner said, “This week I am doing every rep!” Sometimes we miss a few reps trying to keep up with Autumn and also get a sip of water or mop off my face, or the floor beneath me. Something about that statement, or the fact that it was the last day of the phase, or the fact that I’ve gained strength these last 8 weeks, but wow I went so hard in this weekend. I really made a huge amount of progress these last 8 weeks. And I was so beat at the end of it. We got back to the apartment and I started making out shakes, and all I could think was, why do we keep our Shakeology on the top shelf, I’m not sure I can lift my arm to pull it off the shelf. Seriously. It was not easy! But it was so tasty, and I felt so good after drinking it!

Check out our post workout pics. You’ll see that absolute exhaustion that I am talking about! My partner could barely hold his head up. Meanwhile I was just pouring out enough sweat to end a drought.

After the workout we had a little time to recover before heading out to a drag show, Peaches Christ’s Drag Becomes Her, a drag parody of the hit ’90s movie death becomes her. We, of course, had to sneak in some food. We had carrots and cashews in our pockets. Never would I have expected this to be my life, but it is so worth it.

Pre-workout meal. Lentils and garbanzo beans (red/protein) with mixed veggies (green) and bread (yellow/carb).
Post workout. Matthew was hurting, I was drenched and trying to breathe.
Another post workout. LOL. It was rough.
Shakeology. So good!
Veggie burger (red/protein), rice (yellow/carb), and pepper, onions and mushrooms (veggies/green)
For the drag show. Carrots (veggies/green), and cashews (healthy fat/blue)
Big meal. Refried beans (red/protein), veggies (green), seeds (orange) and fruit (purple). The apples were pretty small, so we shared a tiny orange too.
