80 Day Obsession – Day 37

It’s Friday. It’s the first day of our event. For those who are wondering, I think a mentioned in a past post, my partner and I coach Queer entrepreneurs who are wanting to attract more clients and grow their business. A big part of our business model is live immersion events. We spend a few days together with a group of our clients and dive deep into what we teach, practice it, and really get it engrained. That is the event I keep referencing. It is called Be Fabulous, Get Clients Mastery. It is 3 full days, and my partner and I lead it. Mostly my partner does the teaching in front of the group and I make sure the back end is all running smoothly, although we occasionally switch places. For this one my partner took on the bulk of teaching and preparation since I’ve been working this temporary job. To learn more about the work we do check out our website.

Overall we stuck to the nutrition spot on today. We did hit one bump in the road. We had green/red (protein and veggies) at home for breakfast. Then for our first meal at the workshop we had green/red (protein and veggies) again. I was so hyper focused on the workshop that I didn’t realize this wasn’t right. It turned out the Tupperware I had grabbed was meant to be part of our pre-workout meal. It was supposed to go with bread as pre-workout. So now our meals were a little off. We ended up have green/yellow/yellow for pre-workout. We had veggies, quinoa and bread, since we had this, and we had already eaten our green/red. I’d say that while leading a 3-Day event, this being our biggest stray from the nutrition plan, we are still doing really good!

So we do the entire day. We know we have 2 more full days of the event. We stick with our nutrition throughout the whole day. We ate our pre-workout meal during our closing circle with our assistant. And we headed home to take on our workout! And we did it. AAA. It wasn’t easy, and we were tired, but we made it happen! And I know I am feeling stronger and stronger. I lifted bigger than I ever have before!

And there was a surprise for me when I got home! Because I’ve been drinking Shakeology for a full year now Beachbody sent em a present. A super special Shakeology bottle that you can’t buy, you have to earn. After a year of Shakeology you get a “Healthiest Year of My Life” bottle. That is because Shakeology is so good for you. I don’t think we’ve actually touched on that in the blog yet. But Shakeology isn’t just a protein shake, it is a nutrition shake, that is packed full of goodness for your body. The truth is, it really has been the healthiest year of my life. I’ve had very little illness this year that I’ve been drinking my Shakeology and working out regularly.

Here is some info about the benefits of Shakeology from shakeology.com:

Made with globally sourced superfood ingredients

  • Proteins and fiber – to help reduce hunger and food cravings.
  • Antioxidants, Phytonutrients, Vitamins, and Minerals – to help fight free radical damage and help support a healthy immune system
  • Adaptogens – traditionally used to help the body adapt and respond to the effects of stress
  • Prebiotics, Probiotics, and Digestive Enzymes – to help nutrient absorption and support regularity and healthy digestion

Oh, and one more thing. For live events my way of unwinding is officially epson salt baths. I took a bath last night. Another one tonight after our workout. It works out because my partner’s way to unwind is to play Zelda, and I’m not very interested in sitting around watching him play Zelda.

Salad and garbanzo beans. (green/red).

Healthiest year of my life!
I’ve been drinking Shakeology for 1 year now! And Beachbody surprised me with a brand new shaker bottle in this fancy packaging.
Post workout. Long day, long workout, but we did it!

Post workout Shakeology. We did strawberries instead of bananas to make it extra yummy.
