80 Day Obsession – Day 35

Today was our first refeed day!! As I mentioned yesterday we realized last night we had no idea what refeed day was. We finally figured it out (the answer was so easy to find, but I kept glossing over it). Refeed day means a couple of thinks. First, we get some extra containers (aka food). We get a couple extra fruits and a couple extra carbs. There is a picture below of what we get with our refeed day. But, even more than that, our carbs are special!!!! We get to choose from a variety of carbs that we aren’t usually allowed to eat, including white bread, white rice, saltines, and some choice Fixate dessert recipes!!!

We figured out the refeed day situation to late that we didn’t totally get to take advantage of it. I grabbed a box of Saltines and most of our carbs were Saltines. Which was yummy, but it’s no dessert (especially when you’ve been deprived of dessert for over a month). My partner found a Fixate refeed day approved recipe for cookies (oats, banana, and raisins). He made those for our last two carbs/yellows of the day. It was SO good!! We get 2 refeed days this month, and I am so excited for the next one. We are really going to do that one right. For some reason my post workout pic didn’t save today. But we did workout. Total Body Core. Still getting used to the new Phase 2 workouts.

All in all it was a great day for 80 Day Obsession.

Our refeed menu! Extra fruit and extra carbs (including sugar!!!).
Big meal. Veggie with tofu and black beans, pumpkin seeds, and an apple/pear. (green/red/purple/orange).
Saltines!!! One of my special refeed carbs.
Extra big Shakeology because it’s packed with extra fruit. Refeed! Yummy strawberries.

Oatmeal cookies. Refeed carb. Oats, banana and raisins.
