Monday! The event we assisted at is over. And it’s President’s Day, so I have the day off of my full-time gig. But we have a huge 3-Day event coming up this Friday to Sunday, so it isn’t really a day off, it’s a work from home day.
On Sunday I only got one food pic because I forgot while we were running around assisting and just cramming our meals in barely on time.
Monday we got up and got our workout out of the way first thing. It was week 2 of Phase 2, so the workout wasn’t brand new, but it was still difficult. I still feel myself on the learning curve of the new Phase 2 workouts. In Phase 2 Monday is Booty Day. Booty feels a lot like leg day, except a little more focused on the upper part of the legs.
All of our meals over the weekend were basically salad and beans or salad and quinoa. So today we got to have some hot food again! Which was great because it has been super cold out. I even made soup with brown rice noodles. Yum!
As you may have picked up from reading this blog, we’ve been busting our butt with life, work, nutrition and workouts. I decided my partner deserved a reward for being part of this crazy journey with me! Since we moved in together he has always wanted a Dyson vacuum. (Dyson’s cost $300-$400). Today I bought him one, and surprised him with it. It is important that we reward ourselves for our hard work. This was reward day.
