We ate our pre-workout meal during closing circle at the end of the day. Then we got changed and headed to the hotel gym. It was our first time doing AAA (arms, abs and a**) in Phase 2. It had more equipment than in Phase 1. This was a little tricky for us. First off the 10s were missing from the gym. Though this pushed me to lift heavier, it was a struggle. There were also parts where we were supposed to use our sliders, but the floor in the gym was made of rubber and the sliders are designed for carpet or a smooth surface… but not rubber. So we had to figure out how to modify those moves the best that we could. We ended up in some funny positions doing glute bridges with bands on when our roommate walked by the gym. All part of the fun. He was impressed with how dedicated that we are to the workout.
We got through the workout, showered, and barely managed to stay awake long enough to eat our post workout meal.
