80 Day Obsession – Day 15

Monday is Total Body Core. I usually like to call it Total Body Sore, but today was different. My body is getting used to the workouts, so I wasn’t as sore. But fear not, Autumn knows how to keep your body on it’s toes, so to speak. Before we would do all the exercises for the day, then do another round. Week one we did 2 sets of 15 reps. Week two we had 3 sets of 10 reps each. This time we had 3 sets of 10 reps of 3 of the exercises, then we moved on to the next set of 3 of the exercises. This served to fatigue the muscle groups a little more because they didn’t get much of a break before doing the exercise again! Grueling. But in such a good way. And, I was able to do a full set of 10 push-ups on my toes. I can’t remember when the last time I did that was. Maybe 7 years ago when I was in Law School. That was a huge accomplishment.

I got so out of the habit of taking pictures of food over the weekend that I didn’t snap too many shots. Also, I was on the go for most of the day. It was much busier than I had planned on after the busy weekend. But life doesn’t stop just because I worked hard over the weekend. So I kept lots of pre-made meals with me while I was on the go. Some were easier to eat than others. Some of those pre-made meals got to be hard to eat, they aren’t exactly the tastiest.

Post workout. Sweaty and tired, but boy is it easier to do these workouts when I haven’t been leading an event all day!

The only meal I remembered to take a picture of. Tofu (protein), quinoa/rice (carb), with greens (veggies).
