80 Day Obsession – Day 14

This will be my last Sunday post. The first Sunday we have a foam rolling video. I didn’t watch that one because I was at an event last week, and I am fairly familiar with foam rolling, having done distance bicycle riding in the past (545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles for the AIDS Life Cycle). Today was a stretching video. I also didn’t watch that because we were so busy with our event, though I plan to watch it in the coming week. All other Sundays are rest days, and do not count as 1 of the 80 days of 80 Day Obsession, so I will take off from posting. If something really significant happens I’ll make sure to update it on Sunday.

It was a crazy busy day, as we were leading an event. I didn’t get much in the way of food pics because every meal was rushed. We were just finding time during breaks to hide from participants and eat really quick. Sunday we answer a lot of questions on breaks, so there is less time for us to get our food in. I think one meal was about 15 minutes late, but other than that we stayed on track. Super awesome. Given how busy we were I was relieved that it was a rest day.

I think I forgot to mention my moment of weakness earlier. In the week. No, I didn’t eat something outside of the nutrition plan or skip a workout… I stepped on the scale! This is a pretty big no-no. Scales can be very deceiving and not be a true measure of your success. I spent a year working out, shed lots of fat and inches, and my weight only dropped about a pound the whole year. But this time I had dropped 4.5 pounds! Already in just 2 weeks. Wow! I am amazed.

I’m loving this program. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been worth it. Stay tuned for more!

The one meal I got a picture of today. Veggie burger (protein), kale (veggie), and rice and quinoa (carb). This was our meal after we got home from the event.

This was towards the end of the day. The event was a huge success (everyone loved it!). And we were super happy.
