80 Day Obsession – Day 9

Booty! And not the kind that pirates get. Did you know you pronounce Arring like a pirate… arrrrrrrr-ing. But I digress. Today was booty day. We worked our booties hard. 90% of the workout was laying on the ground, but I was sweating at the end. Seriously. But I was able to go harder and do more than last week. It was amazing, but also a lot of work. My booty and the upper half of my legs have been on fire today, but in a great way.

As an added bonus, today I gave myself my testosterone injection. (It occurs to me that I haven’t done much of an intro to myself yet, that is coming soon. In case I haven’t mentioned it yet, I am transgender, and that is what the shot is for). My injection goes into my butt muscle, so I got an extra shot of soreness into my glutes after that intense workout (pun intended).

Food was great today. I am getting more and more used to the food we are eating and finding myself enjoying it more and more. I got pictures of most but not all of our food. I incorporated chia into my day again using the coconut milk. It was delicious, but I clumsily spilled hot tea all over myself while drinking it. Luckily it wasn’t too much, and I got my clothes off quickly and didn’t burned. Thought it was pretty unpleasant. But, I still had over half a cup of chai left, which I got to sit down and enjoy.

This week we are preparing for a live full 2-day event that we are holding on Saturday and Sunday, so we are pretty swamped getting everything ready that needs to happen last minute. Plus I expect this weekend eating and working out will be a challenge for us. But we are determined, so we will make it work!

Week 2 is really giving us a run for our money. Our legs were on fire after booty day!
Pre-workout meal. Spinach (veggie), edamame (protein) and quinoa/rice (carb).
Post-workout early lunch. Ate most of it before I remember to snap a pic. Broccoli and spinach (veggies) with quinoa/rice (carb), cooked in coconut oil.
Afternoon snack was kale (almost all gone by the time I took this picture). And I put one blue containers worth of coconut milk into my chai.

Dinner: white kidney beans (protein), broccoli, onions and spinach (veggies), marinara (fruit), half an apple (fruit), (not pictured) flaxseed cracker (seeds).
