80 Day Obsession – Day 8

The first day of Week 2!! We made it. We are still so dedicated. This was a tough one. Total Body Core which I like to call Total Body Sore (or Soar depending on my mood). We went from 2 sets of 15 reps last week to 3 sets of 10 reps this week. I lifted more I went harder and I ended absolutely wiped out!! It felt so good. I could tell my strength had increased. I was able to do more and I felt my form was better so the results were better too.

Our meals were on point today. So great to be back in our usual routine after a busy weekend. I got pictures of most of our meals. We are getting a little better at mixing foods (or we are getting more used to the foods we are eating). Unlike last week where I often felt hungry, I am starting to feel much more satiated by the meals. I think my body has realized that I will get enough food, and I don’t have to eat it all at once.

Getting on the scale is a real no-no because the scale can fluctuate so much and it isn’t a true measure of progress. In fact last year my weight stayed steady but I dropped multiple inches off my stomach area. But I got tempted to step on the scale. I actually dropped 2 pounds from when I weighed myself right before starting 80 Day Obsession 8 days ago. Wow! I have faith that if I keep doing what Autumn tells me to do and I keep giving my all in the workouts I will see the results I want at the end of this.

We were exhausted after the workout! Day 1 of week 2 really took it to the next level!
Our post work-out meal. Sprouts, greens and spinach with lentils, edamame and garbanzo beans over quinoa.
Last meal of the day veggies (broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, spinach and onions) over quinoa.

The big meal. Seeds. Plus veggies which was broccoli, spinach and onions. Protein was chickpeas black beans and tofu. With marinara sauce (half a serving a fruit). And for desert half an apple.
