We got up at 6 and headed to our event, with our food in hand. We had watched one of Autumn’s Facebook Lives the day before and she had mentioned that if you are doing a lot of exercise outside of your workout you may need more calories and it could justify an extra serving of greens. We were spending all day on our feet walking a lot, so we decided we would incorporate another green because we were definitely feeling hangry. We also ate a meal that was catered, so we had to guess on measurements, but I think we got it fairly close to what is prescribed in the 80 Day Obsession Meal plan. I didn’t get pictures of any of our meals, as we were so busy. Our meals were mostly salad and beans or lentils. We threw together some pretty basic stuff that we could sneak out for a quick break and eat. I did snap a pic of the sheet we used to track our meals.
The workout…. it was only 30 minutes! We saw that and thought… YAY! That was a mistake, longer means harder, not easier. Autumn pushes you harder to really get you worked out if you’re only working out 30 minutes. We were toast when we finished our workout at 10pm! Just ready to stay up long enough for our post workout meal and then pass out.
We headed to the shower after our workout, seeing as how we were soaked in sweat. At the end of my shower I pushed the faucet to turn the water off…. it wouldn’t budge. I turned it and pushed… nothing! I wrestled with it. I called Matthew in. He couldn’t get it to turn off either. We just had water gushing everywhere (in our tub). We had to get emergency maintenance to come out. We ended up being up until past midnight getting our shower fixed. And we had another 6am morning!
After we finally got the shower fixed we passed out! Autumn is very adamant that she wants us getting 8 hours of sleep. So we aren’t doing everything perfectly, but we are doing the best we can, which I’d say is pretty damn good, especially under the circumstances.
