Today was day 3 of 80. Wow. Our first workout was called Total Body Core. Today what I’m feeling is total body sore! I am definitely feeling the effects of the workouts, in a good (and sore) way. The blue things in the picture are sliders. They may look innocent, but don’t let that fool you! You slide them around while you bring them into in your center. It did not take long to really feel it!
Food started to get easier today. We are getting the hang out the timed meals, what we can and can’t eat, and making it tastier. Below are the pics of the food we had, with some descriptions.
Tomorrow we embark on Day 4. I can’t wait to see what it has in store.
Ok, meal 1 wasn’t glamorous. It was a quick early morning snack just to get the day started.This was our pre-workout meal, I was so hungry it was half gone before I remembered to snap a pic. Toast, black beans, greens, peppers, onion fried up with a bit of coconut oil.Next came a shakeology, which I totally forgot to take a picture. Then our next meal. This was our post workout meal. Cooked greens with lentils and black beans over quinoa. I made a fun mix of spices with this that turned out to be a win.Then I took time to prepare lots of food. This is a brown rice/quinoa blend for our yellow A containers (more on the containers to come).This was a rice/quinoa mix with a spoon of peanut butter because we remember we got a spoon of oil or nut butter.This was our “big” meal today. Spaghetti squash, tempeh, marinara sauce, a side of sunflower seeds (we still have figured out how to incorporate seeds into our meals), plus a side of apples. As I post this I realize we also had roasted chickpeas which we forgot to eat!
This was our final meal. We had to take it on the go with us. Tofu and blanched kale with a spoonful of nut oil. Super yummy.
